WHAT IS SEA STATE COFFEE?

Sea State Coffee is a company that prides itself in providing customers with the best cup of coffee they have ever experienced. We are a small-batch roastery that sources premium coffee from all over the world. Once your order is placed, we then roast your coffee and ship it directly to you, ensuring you that you receive the freshest coffee available.

 

WHY IS OUR COFFEE THE ABSOLUTE BEST?

When the founder started Sea State Coffee, he was on a mission to drink exceptional coffee.  After trying countless other brands of coffee and never being fully caffeinated or satisfied, he decided to start his own coffee roasting operation. That is when Sea State Coffee came to life, from there, we have been on a mission to source the highest quality coffee beans, roast them to perfection, while keeping the price point affordable. Not a day goes by where our SCA certified roaster reminds us that we should be selling our coffee for double the price, but we don’t care what he says. We firmly believe everyone should be able to enjoy premium coffee without a premium price. 

 

 HOW DO I ENTER DISCOUNT CODES?

Prior to hitting the “Complete my purchase” button there will be a box to entire your discount code in and then hit apply. Once applied, your order amount will update accordingly. Please note, putting the discount code in the “notes” section of your order will not apply the discount. 

 

 WHAT SHIPPING CARRIERS DO YOU USE?

We primarily use either the United States Postal Service or UPS. All of our shipping rates are based off of the destination, order weight, and current shipping provider rates. 

WHAT IF AN ITEM I BOUGHT GOES ON SALE?
If an item you ordered is marked "Sale" within 7 days of ordering, we would be happy to provide you with a price adjustment of the difference as store credit. 
Please note this policy does not cover sales by coupon code, Black Friday/Cyber Monday/End of Year Sale/Semi-Annual Sale or limited time promotions. Price adjustments are not provided on products already purchased on sale. 

 HOW DO I TRACK MY PACKAGE?

Once your item begins the fulfillment process, you will receive an email from us with a clickable tracking number for your shipment. If you click the tracking number it will take you to the carriers website and provide you with information on where the package is. If you are having trouble viewing that information please feel free to contact us. 

 

 WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING RATES?

Sea State Coffee offers shipping rates based on the destination, order weight, and class of service. We have no control over the cost of shipping since it is generated by each provider.

 

 WHERE DO YOU SHIP TO?

We ship anywhere in the United States, Canada, as well as FPO and APO addresses. 

 

 HOW DO I SHIP TO AN APO OR FPO ADDRESS?

When shipping to an FPO or APO address, be sure to enter the country as United States and the City as APO or FPO and the state as AE (Armed forces Europe), AP (Armed Forces Pacific), or AA (Armed Forces America), and the APO zip code. Once the packing leaves our facility it will head to a military mail facility. Please note, once it is in the military system it may not display any tracking information. Also please be specific as possible with the unit information to ensure the package gets to where it needs to go. 

 

 WHAT IF MY SHIPPING ADDRESS IS WRONG?

This is an easy fix, email us at sales@seastatecoffee before it ships with the order number and updated address and we will get it changed for you. However, if it ships out with the wrong address there is nothing we can do to fix it. Once it is returned to us, we can ship it back to you but you will accrue another shipping charge for the correct address.    

 

HOW DO I RETURN/EXCHANGE A COFFEE ITEM OR RECIEVE A REFUND?

Since coffee is considered a food item we cannot offer any returns or exchanges. Once we start processing your order we will not cancel your order. If coffee has been damaged in transit please see section regarding USPS/UPS claims.

 

THAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club Debit and credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Amazon Payments.

 

HOW LONG IS MY COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT?

When you sign up for a subscription you are agreeing to a minimum or 3 orders which you can set the frequency to. 

 

HOW DO I EDIT MY COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION?

If you would like to edit or change your coffee subscription you can do so by logging in to your account and make changes there. If you have any issues please email us at sales@seatatecoffee.com and we will get it taken care of for you.

 

 HOW DO I CANCEL MY COFFEE SUBSCRIPTION?

If you would like to cancel your subscription you can log into your account and do so from your dashboard. If you have any issues with doing so please email us at sales@seatatecoffee.com and we will get it taken care of for you.

 

 IS IT SAFE TO ORDER ONLINE?

All of our payment processing services are safe and secure. 

 

 HOW DO I STORE MY SEA STATE COFFEE?

The biggest enemies of coffee freshness are air, moisture, heat, and light. In order to preserve your beans’ fresh roasted flavor for as long as possible, store them in an opaque, air-tight container at room temperature. Also, keep the beans in whole bean form until you are ready to brew some coffee, and only grind up the amount you need. Additionally, we do not recommend storing coffee in the refrigerator.
